Look at maidan coup where the democratically elected government of the Ukraine was overthrown. This was started by Obama via Victoria Nuland. Then the N@zis decided that Russians in the Donbass and surrounds were to be eliminated. Nobody will however admit to the atrocities committed by the western backed Ukrainians. There's always two sides to every story. Unfortunately the UK and then the US has vilified Russia since time immemorial. I live amongst the Russians and you will not meet a less aggressive nation.. but then WTF, nobody wants to believe that because it doesn't fit the narrative. It's all about wanting to plunder Russia for it's vast resources. Unfortunately for the west, this backfired badly because of their inept 'leadership' Why do you think Europe has started electing more reasonable leaders - Netherlands, Italy (so we thought), Spain and the list grows.

The also have one of their largest submarine bases protecting the shipping lanes. Can't see anybody stopping their logistics operations in the region.
