  1.  @badguy5554  only Russia has the capability to down hypersonics. The US still has to develop a working hypersonic, test it and if it doesn't fail again, deploy it. Russia has by far won the arms race. Then comes China and maybe the US might take third place. So sad;

  3.  @joellee6142 firstly, America has not been able to develop a hypersonic missile, let alone 2 variations like Russia. By your own admission, the attempted development was an abject failure. As a result your overpriced Aircraft carriers are seen to be dead in the water if you try to deploy them anywhere near China Russia or even Iran. The Aegis system on your destroyers in the battle groupings are said to be 'of concern as a deterrent for the hypersonic threat'. Your government is lying through it's teeth about the patriot system shooting down a hypersonic missile. Why hasn't more of these overhyped dinosaurs been deployed in Ukraine? Answer: it doesn't work. The Himars wunderwaffen was easily nullified by the Russians. The 'wonderful' American armoured weaponry is hopelessly inefficient with Bradleys wreckages littering the battle front. The US is too chicken shit scared to show the world that it's wonderful Abrams tanks will not be able to venture onto the battlefront because they'll run into the same fate as the mighty Leopards. Your M777s wear out quicker than an old lady's britches. You cannot manufacture enough ammo for yourselves let alone anybody else. Your wonderful navy is starting to fall apart with the disastrous Zumwalt project having to be be abandoned because of bad design. US submarine design has been surpassed by Russia and that's why you've palmed off your obsolete Virginia class to the unsuspecting Aussies. Now there's a scramble to try and upgrade these tadpoles. Your multi trillion $ plus F35 is, by your own Congress, said to be a bad design and was termed a 'flying swiss army knife'. Other US experts call it a hangar queen and even a flying barn door. It can't fly at supersonic speed because of a substandard stealth coating design. I could go on. Suffice it to say, your own publication, the US News & World report just published the global rankings of military strengths, outing Russia ahead of the US. Google it!
