Last August, the World Bank released its PPP-based GDP (Purchasing Power Parity based Gross Domestic Product) data for global economies as of 2021. Simply put, it compared the economic output of different economies in the form of the goods and services they produced, while also considering their standards of living. And it found out that Russia overtook Germany to become the fifth largest economy. A few days ago though, it revised that report. It said that its last report was based on obsolete data. And this fresh data shows how Russia actually overtook Japan to become the world’s fourth largest economy in terms of PPP-based GDP in 2021, while also managing to stay on number four ever since.

  11. The west made a huge mistake and saw Ukraine as a means of getting at Russia's vast mineral resources. The German Finance Minister admitted as much this week. That's why they'll continue funding the war, hoping that something will give rise to regime change. Now that Putin is advancing on the rest of Ukraine, western leadership is scrambling like headless chickens to cover up their scandalous behaviour with alternate narratives. Putin is seen by his people as the most patriotic leader in the history of Russia and for that reason, the west has poked the bear and they're about to find out how dangerous that was. 🇷🇺🥃
