The EU countries deserve Von der Leyen's leadership.

Sean, once again a wonderful geopolitical overview. It certainly gives the non-US/EU world hope for the potential of breaking the shackles of these 2 self-serving monsters. 🇿🇦
292
The US has decided that China was readying for war! What a joke.
95
Sean, you're one of the very few unbiased geopolitical/financial commentators that truly has a good grasp of what's really going on. Thanks for all your efforts!!🥃
52
...and the rest of the west thought the USA would look after them🤣
49
He truly was way ahead of of his time. Pity he was alone in his thinking which caused his demise. Now the world is starting to wake up and the hegemonous west cannot silence all dissenting voices.
36
bellaadamowicz8380 😂silly comment! Russia has sixth largest economy in terms of PPP. US debt to GDP is 126%. Go figure for yourself🐑🤡 an economy that is predominantly services based!
33
I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the meetings between EU leadership, sans Hungary!
26
@pbworld7858 he can't even do that properly!
18
@thomasbradley3195 Altruism has nothing to do with it. The hegemony of the US and some EU countries (historically) has created a lot of distrust amongst the non-nato world. Hence the reasons as cited by Sean.
13
Google STEM graduates in China vs USA!
11
@scroopynooperz9051 at least with China you get something in return - not empty promises!
11
@lilacer6841 I don't believe we're afraid of our 'colonial masters '. We're merely playing it safe. The fact that we told the US to not interfere in our relationship with Russia has not resulted in any sanctions (yet?!). Africa is definitely going to benefit from the momentum being built up by the big BRICS countries but we also want to keep a cordial relationship with the west. My $0,02..
6
@Tyiion that's exactly what's happening now.
4
Good analogy!
4
@Bennnyak Fantasties dankie. En daar by julle?
3
This confiscation sets a precedent for the ever increasing global south countries joining BRICS that have IMF loans to default on their obligations.
3
@dbestplannerone and the same - inseparable!
3
Tend to agree!
2
Eckstein!?
2
judging by the quality we're now seeing in Chinese cars, it's hard to believe that there will be any demand for US vehicles
2
This guy is Boris Johnson's brother from another mother. Both clowns, making stupid decisions!
2
Blinken's China visit could've been seen to be a form of appeasement but Potato-head back home blew it with his usual deranged remarks. Biden is the gift that keeps on giving to the de-dollarisation drive. 😂
2
@MuantanamoMobile no! Russia currently at #5 as @ 23 December, 2023.
2
You're obviously a victim of the MSM propaganda. Do some of your own research and you'll realise that the west (Ukraine) is losing on every front!. Economically and politically, Russia is the only winner in this war!!
1
@patrickmcgoohan115 If you'd been watching the likes of Sean and other geopolitical commentators, you'd realise that up to 40%(if not more) of the world is actively looking at an alternative to the petrodollar. Very soon the likes of Opec+ and other resource cartels will start selling oil by gold-backed currencies rather than the paper the US keeps on printing to fund their hegemonic practices. If you're an American, you should be pretty concerned at how your so-called leadership is mounting up the debt. $31+ trillion debt that the US will never be able to repay. I'm not saying it's going to happen overnight but it's a reality check for the hegemons. 🇿🇦🇷🇺😉
1
@daniel halachevAmerican politicians have no right to 'protect the interests of their people first' by plundering and attempting regime changes of other countries. They're attempting that right now in my country because we will not comply with their anti-Russian rhetoric. 🇿🇦
1
Youre absolutely correct. Trump wants to annex the twilight zone as well. There reality is what you make it!
1
It won't fit in with 'American exceptionalism' egotism!
1
I see the potential for African and other countries seeking reparations from the EU and USA for colonialism and war crimes. Refusal to pay will cause defaults with the IMF by these countries in lieu of sums demanded and then an en masse move over to BRICS
1
@msimon6808 the real question is, how many friends does the US have. Remember the UN resolution at the beginning of the war? Now it'll be even more in Russia's favour now that the US's shenanigans are being exposed!
1
@LuisAldamiz purchasing power of both Euro & $ is declining rapidly, especially the former. The Americans and Europeans are also a lot poorer than a year or 2 ago and this is on the up, whereas the standard of living in the global south has been steadily increasing, especially in the far East. So, an ever increasingly moot point!
1
American exceptionalism is an oxymoron!
1
@CosmicValkyrie cosman is Romanian!
1
@TrapBoiFuse561 the clock's ticking!
1
@laurenarndt464 the war is over when Russia decides it's over. The collective west no longer has a say and forget about western corporations being able to get ROIs unless they work with Russia.
1
You need MSM on your side! Ain't gonna happen!!
1
@JackeryThompson-lq8zk not intentional but stupidity and desperation! Can't see anybody on team Biden that is even moderately intelligent.
1
'It's all just transitory!'
1
Not sure where you get this but Europe will take at least 4/5 years to get energy from alternative sources. Even then, it will be vastly more expensive than that supplied by Russia. You're listening to way too much western propaganda that describes Russia as a 'gas-station' economy. Sweet dreams!!
1
@ZigySpACe every one of your arguments thus far have been devoid of any logic. The western 'powers' have shown that they're completely ineffectual, especially now that they're facing a statesman who can out think them.
1
He's merely a mouthpiece!!
1
Facetious old hag! 😉🥂
1
The Biden presidency will go down in US history as the most catastrophic event.
1
@c2ccontracting47 stupid much or do you attend the 'wishfull thinking' school?
1
@c2ccontracting47 Diarise 31 December. Seems you know bugger nothing about strategic warfare. Go and look at how few Russians died pulling out strategically versus how many Ukrenazis were blown to bits when entering these so-called conquests. Don't believe anything the MSM tells you. No need to reply. You're not worth it.
1
My German heritage makes me wonder horrifically where this moronic thinking comes from!
1
Perhaps you're missing the boat. What Sean is saying is that Putin will not be using the dollar value (which is essentially funny money) but will be giving gold a new valuation mechanism, i.e oil for gold . Apologies. I can't put it any simpler than that. 😉

Imagine the embarrassment and humiliation if Biden visited China. Xi knows Joe isn't mentally capable, as does the whole world. Xi is showing true statesmanship.
