@vigilante8374 Competitions against other minor players is far different to competing in a real war. The old east German pilots, when incorporated into the German wehrmacht, said that Russian pilots in any latter day Mig would would kick the arse of any US plane/ pilot combo.🤔

Bottom line- the east German pilots who have flown with both Russian and Western planes (F16s) alongside Russian pilots, rated Sukoihs as more 'battleworthy' and Russian pilots more capable than western pilots. The fact that Germany bought F35 as opposed to SUs isn't surprising given that a NATO country wouldn't dream about it. India was 'coerced' into buying US planes as part of a trade agreement. Given that the F35 cost around $1trillion dollars to develop, one would expect it to perform a lot better than it has been hyped up to be (do some non-google research and you'll find some 'au contraire mon frère' points of view. Sorry to eventually burst your bubble, - I mean balloon. Now go and do your homework and then straight to bed! Stop bothering me!🥃🇷🇺
