@bernardzsikla5640 the Tisza party, to whom Orban ceded 2 seats, is still a nationalist party with a similar ideology (i.e. not pro-EU). So don't go out cracking champagne to celebrate!!

....and how have those 30 EU countries fared economically since sanctioning Russia at the commencement of the Ukrainian campaign. Russia, as the 4th biggest global economy, is showing most of the west that it backed the wrong horse! Thirdly, Ukraine not renewing pipeline leases is a ridiculous argument. Ukraine does not even have a legitimate government in place and the country will possibly have imploded within the next 3 months. Not sure why any relies on the famous PZ's foggy geopolitical analysis. He's wrong on just about everything from the economic fall of China to the future of the dollar and the outcome of the Ukrainian conflict. Have I missed anything?

@hughanquetil2567 were, was blah, blah blah. Just because Germany was defeated during ww2, it couldn't defend it's sovereignty and became a US vassal. Russia is a lot different. It convincingly beat the Germans Unfortunately it's Soviet ideology was similar to what NATO has become. Subsequent to the dissolution,, Russia as the RF, is defending it's democratic sovereignty against the hegemons who wish to plunder it for its resources. Even though western propaganda purports that the RF isn't a democracy. It is a strongly managed Christian democracy that will not allow itself to sink into the depths of depravity which the West call democracy.

@alexwallachian7720 what a load of BS!!! Germany is becoming the 3rd Reich again as dissent, inter alia, is no longer tolerated (applicable to the EU as a whole, it seems). Russia on the other hand is a lot more democratic ( believe it or not) apart from allowing itself to become an LGBTQ proponent (which appears to be the trend in the EU and the US). I suppose it depends on which side of the ideological divide you find yourself!!
