Russia had the upper hand all the while but the NATO warmongers wanted to force Russia to it's knees, so why not continue gambling with Uke lives to hope and pray, Russia falters somewhere. For continuance, ad nauseum, they need people like Zeihan to lie to everybody. I suppose you're one of those who doesn't mind being lied to by your so-called leaders.
