@francus7227 🤔 I wonder why he draws negative comments from so many detractors? This particular post is a prime example where he makes so many statements that can be argued against by those whom you've dismissed as bots, naysayers etc. His opening line ' .....the US never patrolled the global oceans for itself....'. If I were to argue that 'the only reason the US Navy patrolled the oceans was to enforce its hegemony and that the reason for ceasing with these actions is firstly, it realized it's no longer the intimidating presence it once was secondly US diplomacy has hit an all time low and it therefore no longer has any friends in regions such as those in the gulf states'. For stating my opinion, my argument is automatically dismissed! Perhaps you can't offer a good counter argument!
