  7. @David Moody I'm sensing from your friendly retort that there is no belligerent intent on your part to debate the matter and therefore I won’t resort to my usual caustic deliberations. Suffice it to say, I do not have any 'skin in the game' either. Fortunately I live in the southern hemisphere and I'm not affected by the eventual outcome, one way or another. I am however a war veteran in a war that was instigated by US and European hegemony and therefore I have an ingrained dislike of the US 'deep state'. From the historical perspective you so fervently cite, I'm not swayed at all. I do however side with Putin and friends as I see them as an antidote to the liberal unipolar antics of the western cabal (read WEF; WHO; Davos, US Democrats; EU Leadership et al) . All the brainwashing rhetoric that this Zeihan ‘charlatan's’ handlers are trying to promote is being debunked before our eyes (yours included if you’re willing to see it) The neocons via their MSM mouthpiece, are running scared and are now trying to nuance their contrived ‘Russia is losing’ rhetoric. I mean, what the hell is a few first-gen Leopards and some over-engineered Abrams MBTs going to help the Ukrainians. Even if the NATO decides to supply the Ukes with some redundant F16s'. PZ in previous presentations was telling his sheeple that Russia is losing the war and had lost so many tanks to Ukraine in their strategic retreat from Kherson and other so-called defeats, that they now had more tanks than Russia (as per his last Ukraine update). Another example is that of the Russian lack of logistics to transport men and equipment. His statements that the artillery shells, transported by non-military vehicles, tend to blow up when the vehicles go over bumps in the road, are ludicrous in the extreme. This guy has no credibility with anybody other than the doting fans who afford him ‘rock star’ status at every opportunity. In closing, I’d like to respond to one last statement you made i.e ‘ that It is just not possible that Russia will be allowed to win here - NATO exists for that purpose right?’ Every credible military commentator, whatever their favoured warring-party predilection, is stating, in one way or another that Ukraine along with NATO, whether it gets directly involved or whether in a supportive manner, will not beat Russia in the Russo-Ukranian theatre of war. If you sincerely believe that NATO has a chance against the Russian Federation then that is your right but to carry on with this debate, (regardless of my normal tendency to want to do so) is an exercise in futility. I nonetheless love the absurdly baseless Zeihan deliberations, as they’re bloody entertaining. You and I may yet have reason to debate the next Zeihan fairy-tale. Ciao!!😉 See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmIKBEiaRyA if you're inclined to do so.
