OP even says in the video: "these nations are not based on modern trends or media bubbles they're grounded in centuries of history and these differences aren't superficial either they explain why Americans often seem to be speaking past each other locked in a cultural cold war " but the commentors as a whole missed that point entirely

15:00 i think you are on point with this Yankeedom + Left Coast : yup Greater Appalachia + Far West : yeah that could be a thing Deep South : that 45 million, would wee a VERY quick population flight IMO, or some kind of purge. - i can see then convincing Greater Appalachia + Far West to side with them. useful pawns. El Norte : absolutely would become a booming zone New Netherlands : hm ... interesting. NYC being severed from the NYS would be a big shift. and i do think for the better, and i support that. i jsut wonder how the global elite would respond. how much control the PEOPLE of NYC would hold vs the uber wealthy. Does it go SolarPunk or Cyber Punk ... that is hard to say. Tidewater : i would hope side with New Netherlands. The Midlands : they have it tough, the middle child of the 12 nations. i see them swinging where it is advantageous at the moment. New France : eek.. um.. probably another city state. definitely under threat from the Deep South. especially for its Catholic roots. their might be animosity between their French roots and the Spanish roots of El Norte and the Caribbean... but the larger threat of the Deep South might facilitate an alliance. Hawaii : i hope they go back to their roots of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi if they so desire. - hopefully time under American Imperialism has to done irreversible damage.
