The information is great but what can we , common folk with non-related spheres of influence, do about it? thoughts, comments, resources, would all be appreciated. of course there is the answer of 'see what local projects are in your neighborhood' but i am thinking more so on a national level and large school reform. in other words who are the major players & organization leading the fight?

  3. hey, at some point could you discuss Anarchism or with an anarchist how they would do all these basic things? i would love to see a litmus test developed for us to ask any politician, or decision maker for that matter, so we can start picking better politicians. i believe elected officials should be tested, they should answer a while list of questions about there positions, including land use. it would be great to have a test, a mock scenario for them to talk about. ( of course one of the most sane answers would be 'we will have open discussion with the population and experts' but those are still weasel words. that kind of answer tells me that they are willing to sell out to oil and pollution if they are told to )

  4. Reminds me of the $1cabs that the city campaigned against... now the city is making their own? Sounds like the city missed tha ball here and should have just incorporated the the $1cabs instead of destr ok ying their networks and replacing them.
