  3. the issue with modern day "AI" is that they called it AI.... it is NOT artificial "intelligence". but i do like that it has really driven us to DEFINE what IS "artificial" and "intelligence". right now corps ARE just using it as a gimmick. it is a sophisticated number cruncher right now. i agree that it is doing what we asked of it, making derivative work.. just like everything else the majority of humans do. it is NOT an innovator.. it is just an ever day "person" equivalent. a "person" with extremely niche interests and comprehension. this is why we had to come up with the term "AGI" as the idea of what we used to think was 'AI'. like so many words today we destroy old meanings and make new ones and replace them with new words with additional caveats.

  5.  @EkalabyaMohanty  that is a great question that the AI conversation needs to discuss. there are many types of intelligence. in broad strikes i would say most types of intelligence have a level of pattern recognition and synthesis of those patterns.

  6. we need to derail every bad policy. we have to hold him to the "good" things he CLAIMS to support. we need to start using tit-for-tat tactics. we need an ACTUAL leftist coalition. we need ACTION, not words and nonsense solidarity.
