Unfortunately there is a lot of time between now and then that the Republicans can change the rules on who and how to vote. So lwts make sure we do everything in our power now to fortify our chances later.

people need to boo him out of the book tour, scream " get back to work " while they are there.
182
we need easy access for the masses to know who to boycott. we need posters in the streets, we need marketing campaigns to denounce these companies. we need boycotts material to reach more than the choir.
88
yup... attack their money and power; they are not ethical.
82
YES. Zelenskyy called out the US, the disrespect , and showed Americans just how weak the trump/vance ego is. but MAGAts will twist what happened in that office as trump being "powerful" instead of the truth that trump threw a tantrum. i'll take Zekenskyy as the US president over elon/trump/vance
74
time to hold our own town halls and start governing ourselves.
29
@davidgray1515 "better" , who knows... but she can't be worse than musky.
23
on the campaign tours there were supporters calling for women to not have the right to vote. it was not concealed, masked in rhetoric... they BLATANTLY SAID IT... people not thinking that was an agenda, are in a different reality.
21
EXACLTY... where are all the "Better dead than red" .. cold war era republicans?
18
we need to stop giving our money time and attention to most mainstream things, because they are all corporate. IMO, the Left needs structure. they far too often tell prospective members to "educate yourself". and guess what... the right gobbles those people up instead. i agree that learned helplessness is also an issue, the channel mentions this a lot. well... it is an unhelpful thing to tell someone to "Get Good" ( not exactly what this channel says verbatim. but is often the left vibe on the matter) i like lists , i like workflows, decision charts. i like mentors and clear instructions with clear goals. i like impactful goals. i like knowing we have a team and not just a bunch of cats attempted to be herded.
17
and gettign all of these town halls recorded and posted is SUPER important.
12
yes.. close DOG-E. but also... just close the entire Executive Branch, starting from the top.
12
unfortunately, people can't afford today, what needs to be done for the future.
11
the story of the boy that cried world is not one about lying... it is about a community that doesn't listen to alarms.
11
absolutely... go after their jobs.
11
well.... yes i agree it has been lost. but also. effective strike and protest is lost to the people doing strike and protests. we need a national work stop. something workers can point to and say " hey boss, i am doing this"
11
@MaDukesThePoet if there are no jobs next year, then next year is when you will get this part of the population on your side. fostering them with confidence now is what must be done then. getting our resources built while we still can. this is a war of attrition. we need to pick our fights.
10
i lover the idea of the Dem leadership in a district showing up to Rep controlled district town halls.
10
" all it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing"
9
@thegodhead you also can't have a strike/protest where the people are just canon fodder instead of individuals with individual responsibilities. IMO, the left needs to issue more impactful instructions. doing what we have always done on the left is exactly how we lost the Bernie supports to maga.
9
though i agree ....there is a thin line we have to be weary of feel the feelings but ... then buckle up buttercup, we don't have time to let the depression hold us back. let us not forget 1984's two minutes of hate though. raging against something to defang us from the real fight. the empathy box in Do Androids Dreams of Electric Sheep, SOMA in Brave New World... dont fall for the distractions.
9
have trump get so tired of the interruptions he just leaves, collapses from bad health, or called for his Gestapo to remove all the Dems even the ones that were not currently being "disruptive" ( show his true colors)
8
people are scared and poor already, they can not afford to be poorer right now. there are no support systems for non-union people... i do agree that ALL UNION workers should be on strike right now.
7
the tech bro type are the ones that read dystopian literature and side with with oppressors, reads Ayn Rand and want to build Rapture.
7
what would be a good minimalist garden? i was thinking the 3 sisters, potatoes, bell pepper, arugula, maybe some herbs.
7
@smargaidbeansidh unfortunately, our enemies are far more insidious then orcs.
7
its not just doomers that say not to vote. 3:14 it is non-voters libertarians communists socialist anarchists, that have gone so anti-social they do not vote, that are a major problem. voting is the LEAST we can do; to be done in line with activism if able.
7
@granule-s5m dont forget that our phones are snitches... and more thing have microphones n them than you think. refrigerators, remote controls , tvs, cars, phonebooth( or whateverthe hotspots are called now)
6
people losing their jobs today ... will not help anything.
6
i had to argue with some commentor the other day that tried to say people just need to "work hard".... and called me clueless that i disagreed. smh
6
@soonmipark9791 is "maturity" a nature or nurture thing though. where is the line of being taught by your elders & community, learning WITH your community, and educating oneself. from what i can tell empathy is in crisis because it is either being washed out of kids, being restrained, or otherwise being explicitly taught against. the kind of "immaturity" that is often displayed is from kids that were not socialized in any beneficial way. the classic, the bullied becomes the bully. asking a badguy to be a goodguy is just not an effective gameplan. we need more than just pointing at the problem. the boy that cried wolf taught us this/. the boy can point at, tell people, there is a wolf, a problem.... but with no means to resolve it he simply got consumed by the wolf. the town failed to resolve the problem, even ignored it.
5
@donaldwert7137 the rise of accelerationists really helps the Right. the Left is not prepared to fill the power vacuums a collapsed world unfortunately. there are a lot of narcissist that want the world their way or no one gets to play.
5
i used to measure things by number of beers .... it helped me stop spending on nonsense.. and also helped me drink less since i realized how much i was drinking.
5
how do we petition our government to void our contracts current and future with SpaceX? remove their tax benefits? etc.
5
unfortunately a lot of people, on ALL sides, do not understand who the "working class" is. farmers, truckers, trades people, think THEY are the 'real' working class and "blue collar" service workers, gig workers, think THEY are the working class often dismissing the trades people because the trades people are often contract or business owning workers. office workers thing they are "white collar" and therefore NOT working class. the truth is .... ALL THOSE PEOPLE are working class. yes... even the petite bourgeoise family businesses are in the modern working class. if they don't go to work, they do not make ends meet. - the right are full of bullies that feel bullied. and i can't stand bullies. but we need to get some of these bullies to reform and realize what reality is. the Left needs to establish petite bourgeoise leverage. socialism is all about 'seizing the means of production'. business IS the means of production.
5
@ the immediate problem i see happening is Russian operatives buying those green cards...
4
but they are willing to block bridges... our protests are not the same.
4
more so.. i wanted them each to do it SLOWLY... every other minute , after the house settled, another DEM make a scene... then kicked , then settles and over and over. make the speech last 8 hrs. "filibuster" the speech essentially. not just in one go.
4
one of the best skills that people can be taught is within the humanities. to ask better questions to be curious to do research to be discerning and skeptical caring about truth challenging unjust hierarchies * i do have issues with autodidact and the concept of "self-taught ". 1)"Having taught oneself without formal instruction or the help of others. 2) Taught by one's own efforts." there are extremely few people that are self taught. simply reading a book destroys the concept of self-taught. A book IS formal instruction. there is no one out there that , within their own life time, with no social interaction, getting prom pre-history through the stone age, bronze, steel , glass, plastic ages, all by their own experimentation in a lifetime. *
4
we need white boards in TownHall meetings. we need them to be strategy planning. not obligatory Q&non-A Dems listen to complaints and do nothing meetings.
4
thank you for the political break 😄 it is good to hear non-Right people talking about heritage & culture.
4
correct, Zionists are not pro-Jewish, they don't even care about the state of Israel as far as they need it to fulfill prophecy. that's why so many Zionists that are also antisemitic, exist. all the supremacies congeal into one mass... hence white-Christian-nationalism.
3
yes. thank you for addressing that working class people can not risk their livelihood.
3
@stephencody6088 that's not unimaginable. then really double up the Concentration Camp arrests.
3
yes, awesome advice speak the language republicans speak , money and power. unfortunately, leaning into a little-bit of xenophobia works, leaning into a little-bit of nationalism, leaning into a little-bit of "states rights". we have to weaponize what republicans us as their narrative. retake the narrative.
3
@a.j.reilly6821 hm... i would say... no more than 15 minutes of your hourly wage ... or ... a beer is worth it's enjoyment period minus it's regret period
3
been watching Babylon 5 ... and oh man... S3e5 voices of authority. A reminder of what we need to avoid ....
3
correct, a SUSTAINED boycott is needed. what we need to do is cutting out luxuries from corporations that support fascism. what the Left should have been doing was creating alternative businesses for times like this.
3
just a one day no buy? soooo people are going to stock up the day before and continue buying after? that doesn't do much. does that include electricity? does that include not working? not taking transportation?
3
the fact that we need politics / laws / policies to regulate business under capitalism... speaks to the fact that capitalism IS political ... and realistically just about everything is political.
