  3. depends on your standard for "alright". a lot of people are going to be hurt. undoubtable there will be undue hardships and death because of trump's administration. the actual economy, the laborers economy, will be hurt from the trump administration too. we are looking at being set behind for these 4 years with what gets put in place, the next 4 years while we undue those changes, and definitely further for the things we can't change and need to time out because they have some 2050 year date. we are in a very precarious situation. and the low-information voters are clearly not learning.

  13. yup... because we do not make the machines that someone would need to build a factory... these machines and parts would come from.... out of the country. there is a lead time America would need before implementing tariffs. if we spent 10 years building everything we need to isolate... then put tariffs into effect.... then people would be able to avoid tariffs. but America is a manufacturing country. tariffs now simply makes prices higher in every sector.

  31. until there are no Uber drivers because the works are not employees and have to shell out repairs on their cars themselves. same with transit. plenty of transit parts are going to be price gouged from this. especially since transit is bound to city contracts and the demands of the people. corporations with the key widget for a train or bus , already suffering from other business lose, will charge cities up the wazoo. look at the widgets for , say , military helicopters. there was a part that costs something like 100$.. but the government gets sold them at 4,000$ because there is only one company that makes them.

  38. if people really want to complaint about food stamped being used on "luxuries" .... blame the businesses.. not the people. the business people are supposed to be the gate keepers. not that i care what people spend their food stamps on, to be clear. the only thing i care about in that situation is child abuse. if a child is not being feed from their allotted food stamps. that is certainly an issue i can conceive of. not to say it is happening widely of course, it would need to be found out that this scenario is even really an issue.
