You are serving that feeling that you get when you leave that comment that confirms your identity." i call bull... you are defending FACTS when we do that. yeah it might have an :opposite effect: to give people that facts... but that is NOT a critique about the truth. that is a critique on peoples nonsense world views. i am intolerant of BS lies toted by propagandists. saying "i don't know" to someone DOES NOT change their view. it makes them feel superior because they "know" their "truth" is true and your "i dont know" is weakness. i am not saying to make something up, i am saying we need to get more data and facts to combat these peoples fantasies. there is no benefit to people running around beilveing falshoods. ESPECIALLY if these falsehoods are in the service of anti-social behavior and actions. --- we have to draw a line... and this milk toast liberal nonsense of allowing people to hold their bigoted regressive ideologies based in feelings instead of facts is BULL. -- i will say this though... the left needs narrative propaganda that is fact based but as intuitive as the right. the right weaves stories that tap into the archaic tribalism we have pattern recognition for. the left needs to find a niche of the mind that is not bigoted but is as narrative powerful; or at least tap into a more positive version of tribalism, some kind of TRUTHFUL patriotism.

  2. pirates are just people responding to capitalism with capitalism. a corporation like anything else. a "POOR" country making money with the traditional violence of Europeans!?!?!? 'Merika Corporations say that's not allowed... so the military gets deployed. like always, businesses employing violence at the cost of people. "piracy was solved in the horn of africa" ... aka... business profits were protected and corporations are free to pollute and destroy with no real recourse from the victims. like always these "pirates" "terrorists" are native people fighting capitalist exportation. these things are crimes berceuse the people in power have the legislation , judicial and execution powers.
