the US supreme court adjudicates the law and apples the constitution as they interpret it. they have in many instances held laws related to weapons as constitutional.

the capitalist profit class wants to make sure the labor class stays under the bosses heel, and they want to make sure they have the executive branch on the payroll. this is why the profit class funds so many political moves. they do everything in their powers to sway laws in the favor of business instead of people.
evident in part by statement by Elon Musk:

the profit class wants to keep making those profits, which necessitates taking those profits from the labor class. progressives know this already, but conservatives need to wake up to it. ( i can't imagine there is much home for the regressive though. those would be the white-christain-nationalists and other trump-esque followers)
conservatives ought to be conversed about privacy, overreach of business interaction with government, and in favor of conservative economic growth instead of exponential economic growth. desire for exponential growth makes you an accelerationist, not a conservative.
