@lord4067 well the point is, if you are blindside hit in public onto concrete, naturally, any humans fight or flight response will kick in, which is survival instinct and you would draw ur weapon almost automatically (especially if he’s telling the truth of carrying a gun more than half of his life).
When he pulled out the gun, it was justified because, well frankly you never know what can happen. What if instead of it being that dad it had been an actual assailant or someone who intended on kicking his ass? That’s why drawing the gun is justified. At that point the interaction peaks and in this case, the father tried to get away and took multiple steps away before being shot.
In conclusion,
His reaction to being pushed was justified scientifically and with common sense, however once it continued, it definitely was an evil act of some sort as that man posed absolutely no threat
