  7. In my native country where I spent the first 10 years of my life (1989-99) we only used 🧻 about half the time because we couldn't always afford it, and it was of the lowest quality possible. The other half of the time we used old newspapers. 😐

  8. I just pointed out this exact thing! That said, 💩 also gets into the washing machine from your underwear. Unless you wash your underwear separately and at 60°C/140°F (the temperature at which bacteria, viruses and parasites die), it the 💩 bacteria will spread to your washing machine, and to the other laundry like pillow cases and tea towels. Now I'm paranoid about eating at other people's houses 😆

  11. ​​ @jedro86  An even better question, at what temperature do they wash the towels, and do they wash them separately, or together with other laundry? 60°C/140°F is needed for bacteria, viruses and parasites to die. Using this hot temperature is expensive and bad for the environment. But if you use a lower temperature, the bacteria from the towels will spread to your washing machine, and to the other laundry.
