  1. Unfortunately this is my mother 😥 She went on to be abusive to me, but at least it took until was almost 10 years old. Before that she was the best mom there could be. At least unlike her I got a good start.

  2. Many people also think that emotional abuse is not serious and that the victims suffer from it because they are weak and defective, or that they lie and claim to suffer, for attention. In reality, emotional abuse can cause more damage than physical and SA.
