That would be an unnecessary invasion of privacy tbh. Pilots aren't the only ones who can cause disasters if they're drunk, all drivers can do that (including bus and train drivers), and also nurses and childcare workers. We can't breathalyze all of them every day, can we?

@slippy Idk, pilots are subjected to extra safety measures, for example there are always two pilots just in case one can no longer work, and their meals are prepared separately to prevent both of them from getting sick if one meal is tainted. But these are protections of pilots from things. Treating them as potential criminals and breathalyzing every one of them before every flight goes too far imho.
