  1. The Netherlands has one of the highest punishments in Northern and Western Europe. A 2008 study showed that laymen give the same sentences as the judges or even a little less, when they have the same information about the criminal and the case as the judges. Just because everyone says something (in this case that the Netherlands is soft on crime) doesn't mean it's true you know.

  4.  @bonniestewart2654  I'm Dutch and the last thing I need is for some Anglo-Saxon to feel sorry for me. The Netherlands is one of the best countries in the world and I enjoy my life very much. I live in the real world, not in the world of YouTube documentaries like you.
