  5.  @laurieb3703  You love your country because it's yours and you're used to it, just like everyone loves their mother, regardless of what kind of person she is. It doesn't change the fact that life in the US is objectively bad for many people, compared to other "developed" countries. You should still love your country though, and try to make it better.
