  1. Viktor Yanukovych was elected in the 2010 elections, that were called "free and fair" by international observers. There was no "regime". Don't mindlessly parrot everything you hear.

The US covertly brainwashed masses of people in Ukraine in order to oust the pro-Russian government and to get in a pro-US one, in order to get NATO closer to Russia's borders or to provoke a Russian attack, which hurts Russia's international image and justifies economic sanctions that weaken Russia's economy. Basically the US doesn't want to fight Russia themselves and have brainwashed silly Ukrainians to do it for them. It's called a proxy war.
