Children of that age don't know what they're doing, they're simply copying the behaviors of adults around them. Even adults can copy sick behaviors that they learned as children, like people who were abused by their parents and go on to do the same to their children, or men who witnessed their father abusing their mother and do the same to their wives or girlfriends as adults. If so many adults have trouble telling right from wrong we sure as h--- can't expect it from children who haven't even hit puberty yet.

@notnigglergracuncate2818 I don't believe you have a PhD.
2
@notnigglergracuncate2818 How do you know it's in their DNA?
2
@notnigglergracuncate2818 It's very relevant.
2
There's something wrong with lots of people, yet very few of them end up m-rdering someone, and m-rders by prepubescent children are almost nonexistent. Even for many adult criminals including killers, child m-rder and se-ual abuse is taboo, and prisoners sentenced for these crimes are at the very bottom of the prison hierarchy. I don't think you blame a parent for not predicting such a crime by their child.

Children act like that because of neglect and abuse, or because they were born psychopaths. Thrashing them isn't going to help in either case.
2
@CathyKitson That's what I said. If a child is violent even though they grew up in a normal loving family, they were born a psychopath. Giving them a thrashing will not solve anything.

@Sel-Shackfield The people who saw them asumed that the older boys were the toddler's brothers and were bringing him home to their parents. You can't expect people to suspect something as rare as abduction and murder by ten year olds.
2
@Sel-Shackfield Sorry, I forgot that assuming things is the biggest internet taboo right now.
2
@Sel-Shackfield What would you do if you saw them?
2
@toro5280 Then what produces sadistic monsters?
1
@ritsr2101 Uh, I'm pretty sure people in the West are happier and safer than in most non-Western countries.
1
@RejectedRecords1998 How do you know they knew it was wrong?
1
@notnigglergracuncate2818 Said the troll.
1
@edavid2557 There were no charges pressed against the parents.
1
@edavid2557 And why do you care where the siblings are? It's none of your business.
1
@notnigglergracuncate2818 You still live with your mom don't you?
1
@notnigglergracuncate2818 You sound like you're already there.
1
@leemontoya8028 What word?
1
@leemontoya8028 I wrote it like that because my comments are often removed when they contain loaded words like "m-rder" and "se-ual".
1
@rachelfrances905 You're saying that we should follow the law rather than the ideas of people on the internet? Unbelievable!
1
@CathyKitson We have this thing called "the law" that tells us how to treat people who commit crimes. Nobody needs your ideas.
1
@CathyKitson Saying that you know better than the judge isn't talking freely. That's just being dumb.
1
@CathyKitson I trust judges over the YouTube comment section.

What kind of protection did James Bulger not get?
1
@Sel-Shackfield We were talking about them walking on the street with the toddler.
1
@Sel-Shackfield How would you call them out on their activity?
1
@Sel-Shackfield "This is our brother, we were playing, he got hurt, so now we're going home to our parents". Then what would you do?
1
@Sel-Shackfield I don't believe you.
1
@Sel-Shackfield I don't believe that it doesn't concern you.
1
@Sel-Shackfield I don't believe that you don't believe me.
