  1. Dani Catalán it’s okay to use the term. The problem is most people who constantly use it advocate for basically a “free market” of idea with zero regulation where a fascist should have just as much platforming as a scientist because somehow they think the better idea will always win.

  2. Dani Catalán okay so what if someone threatens to shoot up a hospital for every time you say something against racism at KKK rallies? Is that not provoking violence to then continue advocating for anti racism? What if I view unhealthy food as violence to children? People can’t say that candy is good every once in a while for kids? What if I’m just more subtle about it and use Nazi dogwhistles? The problem with the term violence is that it’s basically so vague it’s meaningless. The argument should be what constitutes as violence in the first place. Personally I think eating animals unnecessarily is violence. See how that works?
