Police ultimately become a separate social class in society as they serve the state over the average citizen. Many governments are more just than others, but they will never be ultimately human first within our systems.

I agree voting for those people is ideal and it it true that the thing you’re mentioning is most of the problem, the fact that historically these people have been wrongs and now it’s just never been righted. The knife isn’t being pushed further in or pulled out it’s just been let go. However, with all that being true, police do profile black people even accounting for class more than white people. That is a fact. Both factors are influential though. Also I mean, most cops in the states are heavily to the right compared to the average population.
