nobody should be barred from participating in a free and fair election. The problem is that the United states doesn't have a free and fair one. Corporate interests practically buy elections and push things against the interests of the masses through propaganda, lobbying, etc. That's why all these corporate presidents nobody likes are the only ones able to win.
