  2. Thanks for not just accepting the war mongering with China narratives by the media. You don’t have to like either authoritarian state or whatever in order to be against escalation or to have a mixed opinion.

  3. Alien life is less likely to be tyrannical because parasitic/authoritarian systems are inherently less self sustaining and resilient than free and self governing societies are. Parasitic relationships run out of hosts and then die sooner or later. My guess is if there is common advanced like out there, there’s signs of it but we aren’t able to detect it because they integrate so well into the environment they’re in. That said there’s zero evidence of extraterrestrial life so far so there’s no reasonable take other agnosticism and treating things as if earth is the only harbour of life in the universe until proven otherwise
