@Harmonic_shift everything you're saying is reasonable, but I just wanna say anarchy isnt actually chaos or lack of social organization, it's just maximized freedom and decentralized governing:b

@Harmonic_shift No, I am literally an anarchist. The way "anarchy" is defined today was an intentional appropriation of the term to make it synonymous with chaos, making people believe that the authoritarian state is necessary to keep order when it does the opposite. Anarchists love social organization more than any other group, we just don't like centralized governments, or what we now call states. Authority has multiple definitions yes and yours is one valid one, the one I'm talking about is the one in reference to "authoritarianism" as in tyranny, oppression etc. Anarchy is not simply freedom of the individual, its maximized freedom of both the collective and the individual. Something which actually isnt contradictory at all because in reality both compliment each other.

@Harmonic_shift You're being super dishonest and disrespectful to someone who was trying to be honest and respectful with you. You have no idea what you're talking about whatsoever on this topic, keep malding about strangers you have no clue about tho lol, guaranteed to see you seethe below because clearly this struck a nerve with you.

that would heavily screw over indie devs.

@combobreaker449 No my condescending friend, I do. I also understand that AAA projects are typically done by massive corporations who are easily able to take the brunt of regulation, market crashes, etc even if a AAA project fails. Indie studios so have the benefit of being more efficient I agree because it's directly controlled by fewer people and it's decentralized and easier to organize, but again they have less ability to deal with failures if they happen or big market shifts because they aren't sitting on a giant pile of capital. Basically every market crash shows this in every market. Look at the pandemic. You're the one who doesn't know what they're talking about, can't even give a legit argument and get's mad.
