  7.  @gunjansharma548  that’s exactly what we are talking about. You ARE being obtuse. Practically anything can be art, especially something that is created as a representation of something else. An idol is something that you worship or desire to be like, if you can’t imagine even a single instance where someone could create something considered a statue that doesn’t fit within that, you’re either an idiot or dishonest. I could make a statue of Hitler naked and jerking off, irony exists. Statues are an easy and obvious way to idolize something publicly but it isn’t inherent. We just tend to create art out of things that inspire us positively rather than negatively.
