Yeah at the same time I get it too, it’s understandable that these people who want to do better but live in really white areas, they want to personally show solidarity yknow, but you gotta put yourself in the shoes of ppl you’re talking to lol, like, not every single moment is a moment to show solidarity, a big issues is I don’t think these people know what else to do, people have been taught to not be able to see things systemically and so they see no other avenue to be good other than directly going to ppl. It’s pretty cringy but yeah...
