  1.  @njm543 I looked it up and it says estimates range from 10-50 billion, however I saw another article from a more environmentalist website that says explicit subsidies account for only 8% of the world’s subsidies for fossil fuels, others being tax breaks and protections from liabilities for health and environmental damage etc

  4. No we will not. I’m not saying immediately ban all fossil fuels period that’s delusional. Some things need it. But electrifying nearly everything is possible. Wind and solar for rural areas works great, also corporate farming needs to stop. The constant tilling and plowing of land is deathly to the soil. Radical permaculture is needed. Also, no household should require four vehicles. We need public transportation.

  7.  @Keithlfpieterse  I mean that while we should be trying our best in all sectors of society, consumers aren’t where a lot of the blame should be placed, consumers don’t control the market as much as corporate power does.

  8. I agree with everything except gun control. I understand it and i believe dems are more correct than republicans, however I believe that this is an unnecessary compromise and a healthy gun culture without the danger and terrorism is possible. The problem is the society surrounding it.
