@gerbre1 . And it could just as easily happen to your Hybrid . Thing is , with a pure ICE vehicle , if you STOP the Engine you stop the Fuel Pump(s) and if you actually HAVE a functional Extinguisher , you have a reasonable chance of actually Beating the Fire . Just some common sense required .

@ . An extinguisher is only going to work on a EV fire IF you disconnect the Battery from the Wiring . If the Problem is the Battery itself , just Run Away and Keep Running . Oh , wait , you're a Vegetarian . Run away briefly and then Keep WALKING away.............
