@justsomeguy934 . Hey , Pal , that Bowser Explosion that you linked . DID YOU NOTICE THAT THE GAS STATION ATTENDANTS MANAGED TO EXTINGUISH IT , quite quickly ? I assure you , it would absolutely not go like that with a Self Immolating EV Battery . And if you think otherwise , you simply Highlight your lack of understanding of the Chemistry involved in the two scenarios .

@. You clearly have no understanding of Air/Fuel ratio , and how it relates to the Flame Temperature . HOWEVER , upon having a second look at that Other Bowser fire video THOSE are LPG pumps . And LPG vapours do settle to the Ground too . Doesn't change the fact that the Ground fumes burned off in 3 seconds . It was caused I suspect by a Gas leak IN THE VEHICLE itself . Hence the Flames from under the Bonnet/Hood . Quickly and fairly EASILY extinguished you will notice .

@przemekkobel4874 . Those WERE petroleum vapours from the Tank filling . Heavier than air , so they sink to the ground . There was NO liquid fuel involved in the Fire . Clearly that car did have a problem with the Venting system , meant to prevent that scenario .
