  1. It is WAY past time that Australia has a Mature , ADULT discussion about this . Without all the Hyperbole and Rhetoric . Was need a SOLID Baseline power source . Of course Renewables should always be part of the mix , but they are , quite frankly , unlikely to EVER be adequate alone for an unbreakable Baseload capacity . I am a believer in Nuclear Energy , but honestly , JUST USE COAL if that's the only viable way to provide STABLE Baseload power . Our Politicians need to WAKE UP and discuss this with Us , their Constituents , in a " Grown Up " manner , rather than the all to frequent " Petulant Child " antics . Another point to make here is that Nuclear Power actually comes in a Containerised , Relocatable form these days .
