  1. The Wooden Wonder . Fastest thing in the Air until the Heinkel 219 (Owl) night fighter came along . And FAR more versatile than the Specialised Heinkel . One of History's Truly GREAT aircraft .

  3.  @nauwgtx  . If it DID it would not perform anywhere NEAR as well . Wood is light in weight and in some ways FAR more durable than Aluminium .
