With all the Shit on the back , the Two-Post lift might not have lifted it .

Who in Gods name thought using a Cork Gasket was a good idea ? Honestly I can't remember the last time I saw one , even on a Tappet Cover .
13
If it was THAT diluted I think the Engine would seize .
12
@mikea9014 . No . Weld Weld on the Bolt hole and re-tapping . " Glue " won't cut it .
9
There was a 12mm involved too . And a Screwdriver . Yes ?
8
My thought as well . " Burping " a Radiator/Cooling system is IMPORTANT .
8
Well this is a little mysterious so far . Car went in for a Cooling related problem and got a Radiator . Immediate Overheat again . Now Ray has it . I suspect the previous shop was too quick to sign off on the Job . They too , should have noticed the Purging problem . Some Engines can be difficult to " Burp " and there are sometimes bleeder valves fitted to assist that . I suspect a Warped Head .
6
Pretty sure the Kit was designed for Under Hood installation really .
6
Hahahaha . Absolutely CORRECT .
4
@psinclairjr 🤣😂🙃
4
I would CERTAINLY have charged him for That one . And also the don't call again .
4
I Hate LIARS worse.............................
3
Great to watch you going through that process Ray . Vacuum Leaks are a total Bitch . As fidgety as Electrical Gremlins quite often .
3
Well Spotted . I missed that . Yes that Winch Hook is not quite Safe like that .
3
Should use an Engraving Pen . Paint can be washed off.............
3
@davidpayne2880 Ray has a Video to show him................ Bet the Owner says " That's Fucked " . Exchange it .
3
That rear wheel was VERY loose . Surprised the Bearings weren't flogged out . Maybe it will be back . 400,000 is fantastic mileage .
2
Not criticising here , but I would have used a Tarred Rope plug there , without reaming , trimmed flush , and then back it up with the Patch .
2
You mean Studs ?
2
That compressor was screaming because it was , basically , Cavitating . Trying to suck a Vacuum . Not built for that . Yeah , you are right that " Some " shops would have quoted for a Compressor .
2
The Note said that the Blinker Fluid level was fine .
2
I do remember part1 concerning this Latte' Machine . I still believe that Tranny is Fucked , however best of Luck Ray . And Customer . I feel sorry for the Customer . I think he was probably doing his Servicing properly . Simple STRUCTURAL failure in the Radiator and you're all done .
2
Huh ? Mo Betta ?
2
@davidmiller9485 . Actually it IS a structural piece . The Starter gear , when engaged with the Flexplate , produces a Lateral force because of the shape of the Gear teeth profile . Starter needs BOTH mounting points to resist torque reaction and that lateral force .
2
I think that would have been covered by the time he got the Car back to the Shop . Don't you ?
2
Same here .
2
Never " Tell " until all is Good . You can call the Wrath of God if you do , and those Plans are no more after that .
1
All that Tips and Strokes talk started making me wonder if a was on the right Channel........................😂 That Frame Flex is rather dramatic . Congrats on having your own shop now . About Time .
1
Well that IS the way Life works , in general . Yes ?
1
What a Nightmare . It is my Opinion that That Engine is ( technical term here ) Completely Fucked . A Boat Anchor . Kaput . Irredeemable . Etc .
1
If the Customer is LUCKY that is a Head-gasket and hopefully the Damage inside isn't too bad . If it's a Wet-liner Engine could be a liner bottom seal . Bigger Job . Does NOT look good though . Cracked Head or Block , you may as well simply Replace the Engine .
1
Are you KIDDING ? A Copywrite Claim for what was on the Radio ? How Pompous and self important can someone get . Fucking Hilarious . I think you were drilling too High an RPM on the biggest drill bit initially . Glazed the cutting edge tips . That said , What a CHORE indeed . Everything is Seized in . Problem from Factory ? No assembly grease ? Tiny dab of Never-seize goes a long way .
1
@Nick-ue7iw . Neoprene .
1
Because it had overheated , and went for a New Radiator , I was suspecting a Warped Head more than the Head Gasket . Good result .👍.
1
Always Burp the Baby , after a Nappy change .
1
Finding the Socket is Undoubtedly the hard part .
1
I like your thoroughness and Integrity . " So he said Such and Such did he ? " . Let's check..................
1
I know that it is a Precaution . Is it REALLY necessary to remove all The Rockers ? Surely there are Timing marks on everything , and a Procedure for installation . From the Comments , Oil supply to the Top of these Engines is an issue . The Overall design seems OK .
1
What a Difference a Dave makes ............. 🤣🤣🤣. Excellent Gift Ray . Two points of order on your Towing . GREASE THAT TOW-BALL , NOW . And Connect the Chains Hook Downward .
1
Jesus Christ ! Wow . Who put those on ? A Heavy Truck wheel service-centre ? Wheel Nuts get hot and can be Difficult sometimes , sure . But , just Wow .
1
Part Two is an Engine Replacement . That one there Is TOAST . Rebuildable , sure , But a CRATE ENGINE will be Cheaper .
1
Voiceover was perfectly good solution to Audio loss on the Video Feed .
1
Excellent Diagnosing . No Assumptions made . Those Bloody PLUGS . Attention to detail is essential . Must go Click . Customer should hand Your Invoice for Diag/Repair to whoever replaced the Crank Sensor . A " Be Thorough next time " message .
1
Stop Playing with the Helium , Ray . 17' 30" mark . East West Engines ARE fiddly , inaccessible bastards .
1
I just think the Client wanted a Second Opinion .
1
Just one of those things . You dealt with it the Right way . Better to keep good faith and get return Custom . I hope you advised them to , perhaps , expect other coil failures .
1
@Blitterbug . Just made a small Edit to my Comment . I HATE LIARS WORSE . Thieves are a nuisance . Liars are destructive . Understand now ?
1
@billkallas1762 . Huh ? What ? Make some sense will you . Obviously you're trying to say Something . But FAILING miserably .
1
@billkallas1762 . That noise was Cavitation . You know what that is ?
1
@billkallas1762 . No . Cavitation can be Very damaging . It depends how Severe and prolonged as to what damage MIGHT get done . There is no Guarantee of instant damage .
