@ralfie8801 . Ray was replacing a REPLACEMENT FILTER SET . So tell me , where would the Original , Factory filter be most likely to be ? In the Engine Bay ?

@erikvdo . I agree . Hanging down like that is VERY bad placement . If you read my Comment PROPERLY I said the Filter set was probably INTENDED to be Under the HOOD . In the Engine Bay .

@ralfie8801 . Then , sorry to say , a Flawed Application . Might retaining the Original Main filter and using a Nearby single Canister Bypass Filter , or better yet , an Oil spinner be a Safer set-up ? Perhaps Firewall mounted .

@ralfie8801 . Hmm . Why can't those batteries be Under a Front Seat , Original Fitment . Plenty of Manufacturers are doing that these days . Hell , back in the 90's Mercedes and some BMW's had the Battery in the Floor of the Trunk/Boot . That would surely provide a LOT of space for a Rational install of the ENGINE .
