  1. Getting Coal fueling out of the Equation IS a good idea , but using it anyway in the Interim makes perfect sense . A Balanced approach to rebuilding the Power infrastructure . Nuclear to replace Coal ON THE SAME SITE , using existing grid . Renewables can be directed to Battery/Capacitor Banks for Peak supplementation . Gas can still be Emergency / Contingency Back-up . ALSO , this SHOULD be built by the Government . Not Profiteering Contractors . Keep it as PUBLIC Property .

  2. Actually , getting Coal as a Fuel source OUT of the Mix is a Great idea , but going about that MORE SENSIBLY is essential . There is nothing wrong , whatsoever , with renewables , but they CERTAINLY can't be relied on for Base-Load .
