Advanced species are almost Certainly THE apex Predator of their World(s) and therefore may wipe themselves out before being able to spread out . Four . The Sheer Tyranny of DISTANCE . Intergalactic Travel is probably unlikely . Intragalactic perhaps , but Inter ? Think Not .
