  1. The difference between a REAL Hi-Lux and a Tacoma is the Platform . A Hi-Lux should have Live Axles front and Rear . Not independent Front . Over here , the Independent Front end was the Hi-Lux SR-5 build . Still an Off-Roader , but NOWHERE NEAR as capable . Suzuki Gimny is kinda like a Small L/R Defender or Series 3 . Good little Off-roader . SKODA I believe is from the Czech Republic . What you know as Saturn Cars , were PROBABLY Opel Cars re-badged . Opel is German General Motors . Vauxhall the British General Motors name . Fun Fact . The Australian Commodore was originally a borrowed design from Opel . Their Commissar model Sedan .
