Re-Inventing the Commer " Knocker " and calling it a " Breakthrough " . Tut , tut , tut . Pants on fire . Two Stroke Diesels MUST be supercharged to push ANY air through them at all , unless they are an A-frame engine . And Turbocharging is Obvious enough . Diesels LOVE it and no reliability issues with Diesel . Don't even NEED a waste-gate . P . S . An A-frame engine is like those ENORMOUS Ship Main Propulsion type Diesels . 200 rpm Flat out .

@Samosayummyyay . Citroen DS had ACTIVE ride height and body-roll limiting suspension . Basically , Hydraulic Struts , with a Gas Spring on the top .

@hotdogsandhealthpotions9337 . No . Not necessary on a DS . Active suspension .

Horse Power . Shetland or Clydesdale ? Say Watt ?

Like Driving a Rock Crusher transmission . Only takes a LIGHT touch on the Clutch . Overdoing the Declutching will spoil the party . All Highway Trucks USED to use Non Synchronised Gearboxes . WAY Stronger , but Bad Shifting Shatters all the Case Hardening on the Components . Takes some Practise , of course , but done even Half good is kinda Satisfying . You get BETTER because of that .

I have 20 yr old Mitsubishi Verada 3.5 . 5 speed Auto , lock-up converter as new , J-gate type selector . Best of both worlds . NICE CAR .

And wonder why you need a New Engine every 6 months .

Buy a HORSE .

A Normally Aspirated Engine can Pre-ignite if ask for to much too Low down as well . Happens less with Electronic Control , of course .

Two years on I find this Video , and then spend 15 minutes reading comments . PROOF CONCLUSIVE is found therein , that Lead has reduced average IQ . Most punters were obsessed with the Ethanol thing rather than the LEAD thing .

Looks like something that would be Excellent as a Static Engine . Generator , Pump or some such .

Yes , compression ignition with more energy dense fuel in a Diesel , hence the Lower Fuel Ratio . However Diesel fuel burns Slower , AND , diesels do not have an Advance curve , as such . What happens is , the Injection Cycle STARTS earlier and runs Longer at High Output demand . THAT is the advance , right there . And the Longer Injection Cycle keeps fuel going in longer needless to say . The Fuel Injection Pressure on ANY Diesel FAR exceeds any pressure you can get inside the cylinders . Up to 1200 plus Bar . Positive displacement fuel delivery . A 16 litre Truck Turbo-Diesel making 600 bhp and 2850 ft-lb torque can get around 2.4 km per litre economy under load . But up to 12 -14 km per litre just pushing the Prime Mover itself . Americans would know that as the Tractor Unit . Weighs 7 - 10 tonne and uses less fuel than the Family car . Pretty good fuel figures .

But , in the REAL world , there is a reason Coasting in Neutral is called Angel Gear . Lack of Control of the Vehicle means you are GOING to meet the Angels . And , of course , a Carbureted Engine will always feed Pilot Mixture even at Zero Throttle .
