  1. Something not mentioned here . Iron , even Cast , has more " Spring " in it . Can be distorted and return to original shape better . That is where some of the " Strength " actually comes from . Like the Palm tree and the Oak tree in a Hurricane . Palm bends . Oak gets ripped out of the ground .
