@OslikusPrime Yes but the missiles are not the same. Russian missiles have longer range because of USN superiority on the high seas. So a Typhoon which could hit USA from the waters close to the Soviet union not covered by US SOSUS barriers and where the USSRs large coast defense navy + air forces could protect her from USN is still far more useful than an Ohio class sub would be.
