  8. What's with these people? Why would she be so annoyed by sitting next to a cute little 8 month old boy? And if she really couldn't for whatever reason, is it possible that she couldn't politely ask anyone among the 200+ passengers to swap seats with her? And is it possible that no one would? This was a totaly no-conflict situation that exploded for absolutely no good reason. I flew a month ago with a broken leg for the first time and had to often keep it up to prevent swelling. Now I know that one can report an injured person flight in advance and get special treatment, but me and my companions did not know that at the time so I flew as a regular passenger. So I politely asked everyone in front if they would tolerate me raising my leg up to their armbands now and then and they were all kind and agreed. The crew also kindly organized a wheelchair to be brought to pick me up upon landing even though normally one has to book an injured flight before boarding. And all was great. Just where this woman picked up that amount of stress, hostility and entitlement is beyond me.
