  4.  @waynedurning8717  do you know that taiwan never did a lockdown? you know why? because people have the sense of wearing mask without being forced. asians understand common good first before individual liberty. that's why they had less of a recession there, cause lockdown is not needed. think about that

  5.  @petec5935  sure. most non scientifically trained people just see effectiveness, as an all or none statistics. of course, a mask will not 100% shield you from the virus. But, a barrier is a barrier. It may not 100% prevent exposure, but the additive effects of everyone wearing a mask will decrease exposure. we are talking about the population as a whole. Not individuals. we need to just check our individuality in the locker room for a while (figuratively speaking), during a pandemic. You'll get it back when the pandemic is over.
