@jackkushkietruth101 I was criticized quite awhile back for stating they should have learned the language first. There are many options to learn at home. I also stated that the children should be in school, the Russian education system is excellent. How can the children be taught Russian from kindergarten to grade 12 in mathematics, science, geography, history, Russian language and grammar, etc when you are not fluent in the Russian language; and prepared for entering University? To home school in your native Country is one thing, in a foreign Country without being fluent both orally and in written form.

With all due respect check out expatamerican. He put out a video with Dimitry Kuznetsov, a Russian Congressman, explaining the details and how long this has been in the works. Also Joseph's wife Svetlana was campaigning for quite some time. I realize this Family are celebrities, but do not control the rules. People are being led to believe they do not have to learn Russian at all, or assimilate.

@jackkushkietruth101 I have no idea either. I mentioned to him that our adult children are fully bilingual, from kindergarten to post secondary education. They attended the French Catholic system, which is not immersion. I am not fluent in French, I can read a baby book, so I could never have given them the level they obtained. He basically sloughed me off. I have no idea why a family would emigrate, to behave like they were still in their homeland. He also complains, whines and compares non stop. I have no interest at this point. Thank you for your reply
