  3. 18:00 Malcolm is partially right here but a little off. For the second half of the 20th century and early 21st the GOP was dominated by neo-cons. To Malcolm's credit these people were leftists (many were jews) and intelligence assets most notably Buckley (fed), Irving Kristol (jew), Richard Perle (jew), Bill Kristol (jew), and Paul Wolfowitz (jew). These men and men like them co-opted the conservative faction in the aftermath of the "post war 'consensus'" . Their goal was to do Israel's bidding by spreading wars and regime change abroad, expand the powers of the state, undermine ethno-nationalism to be replaced with globalist liberal civic nationalism (false ideas that America is just an idea/economic zone and a melting pot - heritage doesn't matter), flood the nation with foreigners and most importantly marginalize and persecute true (paleo) conservatism who believed in culture, heritage, tradition, limited government, non-interventionism, tight controls on immigration, and America 1st economics/foreign relations - Buchanan was the most notable of these noble men. As the uniparty neo-con drifted leftward their choke hold on the party has faltered so we're seeing some resurgence of true conservatism battling against other factions (like the glowie "tech right" neo-liberals) for the future of the party. In my estimation neo-libs like Malcolm have a better chance at winning the party. The dems have ran so far leftward neo-liberalism presents right wing. People will vote for anything that isn't the dysfunctionality of the far left. Pair that with institutional backing, alignment with the post war consensus that fits nicely within the overton window, decades of media brainwashing, and a completely different demographic destiny, this faction is destined for advantage.
