great idea. Politically impossible. The old are large in numbers and vote in their self interest. Anything that would be perceived as hurting them to help their grandchildren is a political non starter.

@billusher2265 tech hasn't been improving at the pace you think, it isn't the panacea you think it is. high IQ population growth and tech growth are tied to the hip and our environment is increasingly stagnant and anti-innovation. It just isn't that powerful and way too expensive. It can't save us. Not yet, not even in the near future. yes autism has gone up dramatically in the past couple decades. Likely due to every woman pushing back their pregnancies past when they ought.

@aldoushuxley5953 Neither do I. It's gake and fay. Removing it however is also politically impossible (for the moment) and the chaos of removal could be worse than keeping it.

They'll burn the society to the ground before taking any sort of responsibility willfully. A recurring tale as old as time.

It has a lot more to do with IQ than you're aware.

yeah any incentives should be aimed directly at young men. They're failing (due to state forces) and young women are not interested in them because of it.

I'll say this until I'm blue in the face. Women are not interested in young men. Our whole society is designed around kneecapping men so women can use their shins as stilts to feel equal. Women only like men who are taller. Its no wonder marriage rates are in the gutter as with birth rates. Just give us back our shins. Stop taxing us so much and stop artificially advantaging young women in scholarships, education, diversity initiatives, bureaucracy, entitlement programs, family court, etc, etc...

and 50 years of insane monetary policy that only functions if credit is expanding. Where the trade off is between liquidity crunch and debasing your people's currency.

@michaels4255 Instead of UBI why don't we just stop forcefully confiscating so much of our citizen's money in the first place? If the state was actually in the interest of the people it governs (it isn't) it wouldn't make sense to steal from people then give back a small amount. Just don't steal so much.

OR we stop forcefully confiscating so much of people's (mostly young men's) labor.
