Isn't it the opposite though? If everything is predetermined you're absolved of responsibility because nothing was ever in your control. Your actions are just the outcome of what came before nothing more there was never any other option except the one you were destined to make. You didn't create your environment or the events leading up to your life so nothing can be your fault. On the other hand free will suggests actions involve a conscious decision. Something within you was given the choice of many potential actions and you ought to be judged upon your willful selection of actions.
